CES Damper ECU V8
Overview
The CES Damper ECU V8 controls the vehicle’s vertical dynamics, by providing current up to 8 damper valves.
The damping control system ensures under consideration of environment and vehicle conditions optimized damping of wheels and car body.
Three acceleration sensors and four wheel level sensors (wheel displacement) determine the current road and driving conditions. At the same time, the ECU uses network information from the vehicle’s bus system to calculate data for energizing electromagnetically adjustable damper valves.
