What do you do with your Tervis Tumbler cup lids & straws?
We have just put in a pool and adopted the NO GLASS rule. I picked up a bunch of the tall Tervis Tumber cups and also got the lids with the straws but I can’t figure out how to store them. The cups go fine in the cupboard but I don’t always want to use the lid and straw so I don’t want to keep them with the cup. There must be a logical place to keep them but I can’t figure out where.
Put ‘em in a drawer nearby. My logic may be a bit pragmatical, but I suppose if you put them in a drawer in the hallway closet it would be such a pain to retrieve them.
You could also stick them in sort sort of container that sits on the counter top below the cupboard. However, personally I detest clutter and seeing a bunch of colored squiggly straws and cap lids crammed into a Tupperware bowl would cause me to break out in hives.
Another option is you could attach the lids and straws with thin bungee straps to your children’s swimwear. They could always be found and never get lost.
